How do I exit my contract without penalty if my service provider changes my terms & conditions and I do not accept the changes?

Your service provider should give you details of how to exercise your right to withdraw from your contract, should you wish to do so, if you do not accept the proposed changes to your contract terms. Your existing terms and conditions may also detail the required procedure. Typically, this will involve contacting your service provider, within a month from when you received the details of the proposed changes and your right to withdraw, to let the service provider know that you wish to exit from your contract. Unlike other contract terminations, this will not involve giving a notice period but will typically need to be done within one month from when you were notified of the proposed change and your right to withdraw.
If you withdraw from your contract without or before having switched to another service provider, it is likely that your phone will not continue to work because you are not in contract with any service provider.
