ComReg received an application for €6.22m on 31 May 2012 from eircom for funding for the universal services for 2009/2010

ComReg received an application for €6.22m on 31 May 2012 from eircom for funding for the universal services for 2009/2010. ComReg will now begin the process of assessing the application and determine if the net cost, if any, constitutes an unfair burden on eircom as the universal service provider.
