ComReg has been informed that the mobile operator JUST Mobile is not continuing its operations and that its service will cease gradually over the next period.

ComReg has been informed that the mobile operator JUST Mobile is not continuing its operations and that its service will cease gradually over the next period.

ComReg advises consumers to check its price comparison website www.callcosts.ie  when choosing an alternative provider.

ComReg has been informed of the following key timelines:-

 

From the 2nd August;

·         JUST Mobile customers should contact their alternate choice of Mobile operator as soon as possible so that they can switch and avoid service interruption

·         JUST Mobile customers will no longer be able to top-up their mobile, their credit will continue to be run down based on usage

·         JUST Mobile customers will not be able to make international or premium rate calls or use data services but will still be able to receive calls and texts and to call other mobile networks,  landlines in Ireland and Emergency Services  (112 and 999)  


From the 8th August;

·         JUST Mobile  customers will no longer be able to call & text people on other networks, only on-net calls or calls to Emergency Services (112 and 999)  will  be permitted

·         JUST Mobile  customers will still be able to receive calls and texts


From the 12th August;

·         JUST Mobile  customers will no longer be able to make any calls (except to Emergency Services - 112 and 999)   or send texts, but will be able to receive calls and texts

 

From the 19th August;

·         JUST Mobile  customers  will no longer be able to receive calls or texts, but will still be able to switch to another Mobile Operator and keep their number
