VAT changes as per the budget....

  • How does the increase in VAT affect me and my telco bills?

From 1st of December 2008, the upper VAT rate increases from 21% to 21.5%.  This was announced in the Budget.  Some teleco providers have increased all or some of their prices by ½ % to come in line with the VAT increase.  Other providers have decided not to increase their prices and they will absorb the increase.

The prices on http://www.callcosts.ie/  include VAT, so please refer to this site for up to date prices.
